Over the past 7 years, I have enjoyed bringing you the stack and hope that it has been helpful. Based on your comments, I believe it has.
Beginning in January of 1996, the stack will undergo some major changes. First and foremost, it will no longer be HyperCard based, rather it will be distributed in Adobe Acrobat format. There are a number of reasons behind this decision. First, the stack has become more than I can manage with my current responsibilities. I also wanted it to have a closer relationship in look and feel to the Apple Service Source CD. The stack will be part of the CD as well as being distributed separately as it always has been.
The SIMM Stack will be managed by the Service Technical Publications group based on information provided by me. The new layout should prove to be as usable as it is now and improved in some respects. I hope that you also think so.
The second major change is that it will likely have a name change. The working title is the "Apple Memory Configuration Tool". Though I'm still partial to SIMM Stack, this title is more in line with it's role in life.
